Another Reason Why I Love Pinterest

All the great cleaning tips! I tried a new one today, and got so excited I just had to share. Yes, I'm just that nerdy. It's an easy, cost-effective bathtub cleaner. My shower is the cleanest it's been since we moved to this house in March. All you need is one teaspoon of liquid soap (I used regular Dawn), a cup of baking soda, a couple drops of essential oil (I had peppermint, so now my bathroom smells like Christmas) and just enough water to make a paste. Grab a sponge or brush and scrub away! Oh, and you'll probably want to do a quick rinse of your tub/shower once you're done. I've heard that essential oils can be tough on your skin, and since I was/am too lazy to research it, I just wore gloves.

But seriously. Try this. Your shower will sparkle like never before. Unless you're a much better cleaner than me and yours looks amazing to begin with.

  1. I think it's cute that you happen to have essential oil on hand. I don't even know where to get that besides Grandpa's stash... haha
