Grace over at Camp Patton saw fit to include me in the latest craze to sweep the blogosphere- the blog tag you've seen/participated in on everyone else's pages. Even though I'm quite sure I'm the last one to jump on the bandwagon (I actually had to run to catch up to it) I hate to disappoint the poor saps who actually checked my blog out thanks to her. And the rest of my devoted readers as well, naturally. I'll see what/if I can deliver on this challenge.
1. The first rule is to post these rules.
2. Post a photo of yourself and 11 things about yourself/your life.
3. Answer the questions set for you in the original post.
4. Create 11 new questions and tag people to answer them.
5. Go to their blog/twitter and tell them you've tagged them.

what? didn't you borrow your dad's snowmobile helmet to drive your car? |
1. I skipped kindergarten.
2. I love eating baked things. Pastries, scones, doughnuts, croissants, you name it.
3. I like to read, but have not read the Twilight series, Harry Potter, nor the Hunger Games. *gasp*
4. The first time I got stitches was from going up the down escalator in a mall, because I fell at the top. I ruined my leg modeling career (the doctor said) and my fave jeans. My bad.
5. I think of competitive shopping as a sport. Less money for more things = winning.
6. I like office supplies. #nerd
7. I'm joyfully a coffee addict. Not a snob like my brother, I just really enjoy my morning cup o' joe. (not to be confused with husband Joe.)
8. I love maps.
9. I'm a good person to travel with. (see above)
10. I like genealogy. I recently discovered that I can apply for the Daughters of the American Revolution. Those New England WASPs got nothin on me.
11. I take Facebook and my blog very seriously.
1. Age? I thought you're not supposed to ask? Whatevs. I'll be 24 in a couple weeks.
2. Dream job? Drinking wine and browsing Pinterest. And stalking all you peoples' blogs. I might as well start getting paid for it.
3. Favorite blog? I'll have to go with this one. I want to be like Lindsay when I grow up.
4. Favorite recipe? Spaghetti alla carbonara- quick and easy.
5. Favorite book? Pride and Prejudice. A little (okay, a lot) cliche, but it's so freakin good.
6. One or two piece swimsuit? Used to be two, leaning toward a cute retro one-piece now. I figure it'll do everyone at the pool a favor.
7. Most embarrassing moment? I tend to block those out. Sorry.
8. Pets? No. Too much work. Maybe when.... I don't know. Probably never.
9. Makeup item I can't live without? The zit concealer that's tinted the shade of my skin. And my liquid eyeliner. I'm searching for a good mascara, so holla back if you have one you love...
10. Fave song? uhhhh... I'm not sure. I actually don't listen to a lot of music.
11. Weekend plans? My mom is coming to visit, so maybe getting house projects done? Other than that, no plans.
If you should choose to jump on the bandwagon with me, go ahead and answer me these:
1. Favorite go-to meal/recipe? (I just need more ideas to add to my rotation)
2. Drink of choice?
3.Would you rather read the book or watch the movie?
4. Public, private, or home schooled?
5. If you won the lotto, how would you spend the money?
6. If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
7. Favorite way to waste time/procrastinate?
8. What is your love language?
9. Favorite movie?
10. Favorite TV show?
11. If you could spend one day doing whatever you wanted, what would you do?
Here's some poor saps I'd like to join me:
Kristi, Laura (quick! before that baby comes!), Clare, Camille, Sara, Meg, Cassie, and Rebekah. And of course, anyone else who can't think of anything better to write about.
yay!
ReplyDeleteha. thanks for humoring me.
---I can't tell if your #11 fact was serious -- I'm normally decent at picking up on sarcasm.
ooo and the love language question -- a very good one. very good.
and ditto on the addict/not snob.
amen.
Ok, three things: 1) I eat (and bake) more baked things than one person ever should, 2) DUDE I SO did the same.exact.thing. to my knee my freshman year of college. Up the down elevator? Doesn't everyone do that and survive? 3) I love coffee more than any one person ever should.
ReplyDeleteI think that's enough similarities for today ;)
Great post!
Why are escalators so scary? I just don't understand!
ReplyDeleteI remember bragging in elementary school how my cousin was so smart she skipped kindergarten. lol I was proud of you!
Thanks for tagging me! This was fun! xoxo
"I like to read, but have not read the Twilight series, Harry Potter, nor the Hunger Games. *gasp*"
ReplyDeleteWE'RE READING TWINS!!!!!
I refuse to read Twilight, I can't read Harry Potter (because my children have and Lord knows I have better things to do than read *children's stories*) and have only just heard of the Hunger Games because of all the movie hype. In other news: I totally adore this rock I live under....
You're welcome.
